Minnesota still unwilling to commit to Adrian Peterson
Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman was noncommittal when speaking about running back Adrian Peterson on Thursday.
Spielman said the Vikings are still considering all of their options, but it sounds like they're planning on moving on from Peterson, who will turn 32 next month. He'll be picked up another team, but it's most likely going to be a one-year deal with little guaranteed money.
There were 88 running backs to notch at least 30 rushing attempts last year. Peterson earned -0.39 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt, by far the worst rate among that group.
