Vikings hopeful Teddy Bridgewater will play football again
Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman said on Thursday that "everybody's hoping" quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee) can resume his career.
What It Means:
Bridgewater is expected to miss the 2017 season after sitting out for all of 2016. The 24-year-old quarterback has yet to resume football activities and he doesn't have any sort of recovery timeline or targeted date. There's a decent chance that Bridgewater is never able to play again.
Bridgewater finished 31st in Passing Net Expected Points per drop back among the 39 quarterbacks in 2015 with at least 150 drop backs.
