Steelers not rushing to find heir to Ben Roethlisberger
Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert isn't eager to go after quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's successor this offseason.
"Will we add a guy? Absolutely," Colbert said. "When? It’s hard to say. Sooner or later we will have to address that." Roethlisberger claimed to be pondering retirement after the season, but the Steelers don't appear to be giving those remarks much weight.
Among the 39 quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs this season, Roethlisberger ranked seventh in Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back.
