Vikings' Adrian Peterson intrigued by Giants' offseason moves
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson tweeted Wednesday about the "interesting moves" the New York Giants have made this offseason.
Peterson has previously expressed interest in playing for the Giants and that was likely piqued by the release of Rashad Jennings on Monday. He's also said he would like to retire with the Vikings, but that's going to require a significant pay cut. The Giants operated from the shotgun over 70 percent of the time in 2016, so Peterson would be an odd fit.
There were 88 running backs to notch at least 30 rushing attempts this year. Peterson earned -0.39 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt, by far the worst rate among that group.
