Dolphins' Reshad Jones shoulder has healed
Miami Dolphins strong safety Reshad Jones said his shoulder has healed.
Jones underwent labrum surgery in October, but it looks like he'll be 100 percent for the offseason program. Still one of the better safeties in the league when healthy, the Dolphins are likely to extend Jones' contract this offseason. As it stands, the 29-year-old is scheduled to hit free agency in 2018.
The Dolphins' defense ranked 18th in the league in opponent-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play. Jones played just six games in 2016, creating 51 tackles, 0.5 sacks, and one interception.
