Pierre Garcon, Washington not discussing new contract
The Washington Redskins have yet to open contract talks with impending free agent wide receiver Pierre Garcon, reports Brian McNally of 106.7 The Fan.
The team has also not spoken with DeSean Jackson regarding a new deal, but it remains early in the process, as negotiations typically don't pick up until closer to the NFL Scouting Combine. It would be a bit of a surprise to see Washington let both Garcon and Jackson walk this offseason.
Garçon was the seventh-best wide receiver in Reception Net Expected Points per target among the 68 wideouts to top 100 targets this year.
