Titans say Marcus Mariota (broken leg) 'doing great' in recovery
Titans coach Mike Mularkey said Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota (broken leg) is "on track" and "doing great," said head coach Mike Mularkey.
Mariota had a metal plate surgically implanted on his broken right fibula at the end of the season, but he's fully expected to be ready for Week 1 after a breakout sophomore campaign.
The injury ended a fantastic year for Mariota, who put up the 11th-best mark in Passing Net Expected Points per dropback this past season.
