Seahawks disappointed in C.J. Prosise's rookie year health

Seattle Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise will have to prove he can stay healthy as a sophomore, head coach Pete Carroll said at Monday's season-ending presser.

What It Means:

"He has to show it," Carroll said. The Seahawks' thin backfield badly needed Prosise's pass-catching ability as a rookie, but he was injured all season. He had a hamstring issue in camp, hand injury early in the year and shoulder ailment late. Prosise played 147 snaps across six game appearances.

Prosise earned 0.04 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per attempt on 30 rushes this year, as well as 0.91 Reception NEP per target.
