Packers hope to get Jordy Nelson (ribs) back for possible NFC Championship
The Green Bay Packers have "legitimate hope" wide receiver Jordy Nelson (broken ribs) will return next week if they advance to the NFC Championship game, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky.
Nelson has already been ruled out for the Divisional Round, but was on the field before Sunday's game and has his sights set on playing in the NFC Championship next week. Of course, that would require the Packers to beat a Dallas Cowboys team they already lost to once this season. Davante Adams, Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison will lead the receiving corps in Nelson's absence this week.
Our models project Adams to pick up the most slack in this one, as he comes in with our fourth-highest wide receiver projection this week in fantasy. We peg him for 5 catches for 66 receiving yards and 0.61 touchdowns.
