Washington may release Pierre Garçon
There is a "solid chance" Washington wide receiver Pierre Garcon is not back with the team next season, ESPN's John Keim reports.
Keim reports Garcon will not return for less than the $7.6 million he earned this season, a number he may be able to command on the open market after putting up 1,041 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns on 79 catches. With DeSean Jackson also heading to free agency, Washington could look a lot different on offense next season.
Among the 41 wide receivers to see at least 100 targets in 2016, Garçon's Reception Net Expected Points per target was fifth-best.
