Cardinals leaving retirement decision entirely up to Larry Fitzgerald

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians won't try to lobby wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald on his retirement decision.

What It Means:

Every indication is that Fitz is seriously considering hanging up his cleats after 13 years in the league. He has said he won't announce his retirement ahead of time and embark on a farewell tour, but the best guess is he'll be back for 2017.

Among the 68 wide receivers with at least 75 targets this year, Fitzgerald's Reception Net Expected Points per target ranks seventh-lowest.
