Darren Sproles (concussion) expected to be ready for Eagles' Thursday game
Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles (concussion) is expected to return for Thursday's game against the New York Giants.
Sproles is good to go after missing one game. His return will cut into Ryan Mathews' upside after a surprisingly productive day against the Baltimore Ravens' elite run defense on Sunday. Sproles will slide back in as an acceptable FLEX play.
On 20 rushes, Mathews earned 6.36 Net Expected Points. Per numberFire Live, Mathews' score ranked fifth among running backs in Week 15.
