Bills sign Logan Thomas from Lions' practice squad
The Buffalo Bills signed tight end Logan Thomas off the Detroit Lions' practice squad.
What It Means:
Thomas just signed with the Lions' taxi squad on Monday. Per Schrager, the Bills were "inspired" by Cleveland Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor's position switch. Thomas is certainly an interesting size/speed prospect at 6'6", 248 pounds with 4.61 wheels. Despite Pryor's success, most of these kinds of position shifts fail. Thomas isn't a bad flier in deeper Dynasty leagues.
On his 11 career drop backs as a quarterback, Thomas earned -0.21 Passing Net Expected Points per drop back. Tight end is a much more feasible career path for him.
