Eagles declare Brandon Brooks (illness) inactive for Week 12
Philadelphia Eagles right guard Brandon Brooks (illness) is inactive for Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers.
Brooks was hospitalized earlier Monday and will miss this one. Isaac Seumalo will start at right guard. Brooks is Pro Football Focus' third-ranked right guard, so it's an obvious downgrade for running backs Wendell Smallwood and Darren Sproles.
Among the 49 running backs with at least 50 attempts going into Week 12, Sproles and Smallwood rank 10th and 32nd in Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt, respectively. Their value on the ground will be at risk without Brooks.
