Terence Newman (neck) not expected to play for Vikings on Thursday
Minnesota Vikings cornerback Terence Newman (neck) is doubtful for Week 12 against the Detroit Lions.
Captain Munnerlyn (ankle) is also questionable. Newman being out means an upgrade for Golden Tate on the outside, but Xavier Rhodes may shadow Marvin Jones.
The Lions are sixth in the league in Adjusted Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play, while Minnesota ranks third in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP allowed per play.
