Travis Benjamin (knee) sat out Friday, likely to sit for Chargers
San Diego Chargers wide receiver Travis Benjamin (knee) missed Friday's practice and isn't expected to play against the Miami Dolphins.
Benjamin didn't practice at all this week, and will be held out through San Diego's Week 11 bye. Expect the Chargers to go heavy on two-tight end, two-wide receiver formations with wide receivers Tyrell Williams and Dontrelle Inman, and tight ends Antonio Gates and Hunter Henry on the field together.
Prior to this news, our models project Benjamin for 4 receptions worth 54 receiving yards and 0.38 touchdowns. That production should be spread around, primarily to his fellow receivers.
