Cowboys' Tony Romo (back) is day-to-day
Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said quarterback Tony Romo (back) is "day to day" in his rehab.
Romo was spotted in his helmet and jersey on Thursday, but it does not appear he has been cleared for contact just yet. The Cowboys have said it might be a stretch for Romo to play in Week 8, but with a 5-1 record, there is no reason to put Romo out there until Dak Prescott starts losing games.
Our models don't expect Romo to spend much time on the field this season, and we project him for only 296 yards, 1.71 touchdowns and 0.99 interceptions on 40.66 pass attempts over the remainder of the year.
