Jay Cutler (thumb) doubtful for Bears' Week 7 on Thursday
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler (thumb) is doubtful for Week 7 against the Green Bay Packers.
Cutler is still recovering from a thumb injury he suffered in Week 2. He has yet to resume practicing. Brian Hoyer will start for the fifth game in a row Thursday night at Green Bay. When Cutler is healthy enough to play, he'll likely return to a backup role behind Hoyer.
Our algorithms project Hoyer for 266 passing yards, 1.73 touchdowns, and 0.90 interceptions on 39 passing attempts in Week 7.
