Jordan Reed

Jordan Reed (concussion) 'making strides,' could be available for Washington Week 7

Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) is "making strides" and has not been ruled out for Week 7 against the Detroit Lions, reports Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

What It Means:

This is certainly better than if he had already been ruled out, but Reed's status remains up in the air due to his concerning history with concussions. This will likely be a murky situation until the weekend approaches. Hopefully Wednesday's practice report can provide a little more clarity.

Vernon Davis saw four targets in Week 6 while filling in for Reed, catching two of them for 50 yards and a touchdown. Davis finished with 5.52 Reception Net Expected Points, per numberFire Live.
