Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder), Jacoby Brissett (thumb) both questionable entering weekend
New England Patriots quarterbacks Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder) and Jacoby Brissett (thumb) are both listed as questionable for Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills.
Brissett will be available Sunday, but he'll only get the nod if Garoppolo is deemed incapable of playing. Tom Brady returns next week, so this won't be a topic of discussion for much longer. Check in Sunday to see who winds up starting for New England.
Our models expect both quarterbacks to see some action, projecting them to throw for a combined 268 yards with 1.61 touchdowns and 0.89 interceptions against the Bills in Week 4. That seems like a reasonable expectation for Garoppolo, while Brissett would likely fall a little short if he's selected to start.
