Dolphins benching Byron Maxwell Thursday night
Miami Dolphins cornerback Byron Maxwell's snaps will be scaled back for Week 4, reports The Miami Herald.
According to NFL.com's Mike Garofolo, Maxwell has been outright benched, and Tony Lippett will be starting for Miami opposite rookie Xavien Howard. As abysmal as Maxwell has been, sophomore fifth-round selection Lippett hasn't logged a defensive snap all season and won't be any better. Cincinnati Bengals receiver A.J. Green should eat Thursday night.
Green enters Week 4 as numberFire's top fantasy receiver for the week. He's projected to catch 8 passes for 100 yards and 0.75 touchdowns against the Dolphins leaky secondary.
