Jets to bring in C.J. Spiller for workout
Free agent running back C.J. Spiller will work out for the New York Jets on Tuesday.
Spiller had the best season of his career under Jets offensive coordinator Chan Gailey during the coach's final year as the Buffalo Bills head coach in 2012, finishing with 1,703 total yards from scrimmage with eight scores. He would likely be no more than insurance behind Matt Forte and Bilal Powell.
Spiller led the NFL in Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt in that 2012 season, the last time he played a full 16 games.
