Tyler Eifert (ankle) 'close' to returning for Bengals
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert (ankle) is "close" to returning, believes head coach Marvin Lewis.
Eifert appears to be on track for Thursday night's contest against the Miami Dolphins after getting in some limited work last week. Lewis has already conceded that Eifert will be on a snap count initially, so depending on your options at tight end, you may want to hold off a week before inserting him back into your lineups if he indeed plays.
Our models currently anticipate Eifert to be in action for Week 4, projecting him to catch 4-of-5 targets for 46 yards and 0.44 touchdowns against the Dolphins.
