Jeremy Maclin catches just four passes in Chiefs' blowout
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin caught 4-of-7 targets for 35 yards in the Week 3 blowout win over the New York Jets.
Maclin and the entire passing game was allowed to coast with the Jets spinning their wheels in the second half, but Maclin missed a couple opportunities before the break to have a much bigger game. There was a long pass down the right sideline that bounced off his shoulder pads, and he failed to get his head around quick enough on another long pass down the seam on the next play. Either play would have made his final line look a lot better.
On seven targets, Maclin picked up 1.14 Net Expected Points in Week 3, per numberFire Live.
