49ers' Vance McDonald ruled out for Week 3 with hip injury
San Francisco 49ers tight end Vance McDonald is done for the day in Week 3 with a hip injury.
The extent is undisclosed, but it's a bad sign that McDonald was almost immediately ruled out. He finished with two catches for four yards on two targets. The 49ers' tight end depth chart is rounded out by Garrett Celek and Blake Bell.
McDonald earned -0.72 Net Expected Points in Week 3 prior to his exit, per numberFire Live.
