Packers' Jordy Nelson thinks he is improving each week
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson said he thinks he is getting better each week.
"This Sunday was better than the week before," Nelson said of the Week 2 loss to the Vikings. "As long as that continues, I'll be excited." Nelson hasn't found the long-range connection he and Aaron Rodgers have thrived on in the past, but he's still leading the Packers in targets (20), catches (11), yards (105), and touchdowns (2).
Among the 76 receivers with at least 10 targets this season, Nelson ranks 49th in Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target. In total Reception NEP, however, Nelson checks in at 28th. He's our WR9 against the Detroit Lions in Week 3.
