Chiefs' Jamaal Charles likely looking at 'another week'
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said "another week is going to help him," in reference to running back Jamaal Charles' (knee) status for Week 3.
What It Means:
Reid claims Charles could play "today or tomorrow," but the Chiefs seem like they will take another week before featuring their 29-year-old back. Charles practiced with the scout team on Wednesday, same as last week. Expect another significant workload for Spencer Ware in Week 3 against the New York Jets.
In regards to Rushing Net Expected Points per play, Ware ranks 20th among the 33 backs with at least 20 rushing attempts this season.
