Jay Ajayi is no lock to be active for Dolphins in Week 2
Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi isn't a lock to be active next week, the Miami Herald reports.
Ajayi didn't make the trip to Seattle after losing his starting job to Arian Foster. With Damien Williams and Kenyan Drake core special teamers, he's going to need Miami to keep four backs active to avoid being a weekly scratch, which is not the most likely scenario. Ajayi is still the favorite for carries if Foster goes down, but he doesn't have standalone value.
Our models project Foster for 49 rushing yards and 0.23 touchdowns on 15 carries, with four catches for 26 yards receiving in Week 1.
