Lions release Stevan Ridley
The Detroit Lions have released running back Stevan Ridley.
The former Patriot and Jet had a lot of competition in a crowded Lions' backfield, and his release is a good sign for the roster chances of Zach Zenner and Dwayne Washington.
Our models didn't project Ridley to have any sort of role in the Lions' backfield, so Zenner's projection of 21 carries for 85 yards and 0.45 touchdowns will likely remain largely unchanged.
