Titans coach says Derrick Henry will get on the field
Tennessee Titans coach Mike Mularkey promised Wednesday that the Titans will "find ways" to get running back Derrick Henry on the field this season.
Mularkey also confirmed that running back DeMarco Murray is the team's "starter," but it's likely that the Titans will feature a two-back offense. It could even expand to three backs if they choose to incorporate Dexter McCluster as a passing-down specialist. Henry has looked incredible so far in August and it would be foolish for the Titans to not give him 10-14 touches a game. However, so far through the preseason, Murray has dominated the first-team snaps.
Our algorithms project Henry as the 50th-best running back in fantasy football this year, with 106 carries for 404 yards, 18 receptions for 229 yards, and 3.45 total touchdowns.
