Tyler Boyd clubhouse favorite for Bengals' number two wide receiver role
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd is being talked about in the organization as the leader for the team's number two wide receiver role, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com.
This comes in direct contrast to earlier reports that Brandon LaFell was still heavily favored to step back into the number two receiver role when healthy.
Our models continue to expect LaFell to play a bigger role than Boyd, projecting LaFell for 53 catches, to only 38 for Boyd. We expect Boyd to total 466 yards and 2.05 touchdowns on those touches.
