Dont'a Hightower on track after shoulder surgery
New England Patriots linebacker Dont'a Hightower is on track with his recovery from shoulder surgery.
The Patriots expected him back six to seven months after his surgery, which took place on February 10th. September 10th would be a full seven months. It's also the opening date of the NFL season, when the Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Hightower posted 89 tackles, 6 sacks, and a forced fumble in 12 games last season. He had 97 tackles and a sack in 2013. Our algorithms project him to record 80 tackles and 5 sacks this season.
