Jarius Wright pegged as Vikings slot receiver
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jarius Wright is currently pegged as the Vikings' starting slot receiver.
Wright will take the spot of departed receiver Greg Jennings, who ran 67% of his routes out of the slot last season with the Vikings. Mike Wallace and Charles Johnson are the projected outside receivers in the Vikings offense.
The Vikings offense ranked 28th in our schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points metric. We project Wright to finish with 31 receptions, 282 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns. He will not be a fantasy difference maker unless Wallace or Johnson go down with injuries.
