Chargers' Stevie Johnson (knee) will miss entire 2016 season
San Diego Chargers wide receiver Stevie Johnson will miss the entire 2016 season after undergoing surgery on his torn meniscus.
There was some optimism that Johnson would be able to return this season when it was found out to only be his meniscus, but he will be sidelined for the whole year, opening the door for the newly-signed James Jones and sophomore wide receiver Tyrell Williams.
Our models don't expect either to have much impact though, currently projecting Jones for 30 receptions, 495 yards and 3.40 touchdowns this season. That would make him the third-most productive receiver for San Diego, based on our models.
