Adrian Peterson (hamstring) to return to Vikings' practice Wednesday
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson (hamstring) is expected to return to practice Wednesday.
Peterson only missed a handful of days with a "slight" hamstring strain. This is the time of year to be cautious with soft-tissue injuries, but Peterson should be fine and has said he wants to play in preseason games this year.
We still project Peterson as our best running back in fantasy, provided the team doesn't mess with his usage. Our algorithms have allotted him 324 carries for 1,414 rushing yards and 10.33 touchdowns in 2016, to go with 40 receptions for 285 receiving yards and 1.35 scores.
