Thomas Rawls

Thomas Rawls won't be ready for opening day of Seahawks' camp

Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls (ankle) won't practice on the first day of training camp, but the team remains undecided on the active/PUP list.

What It Means:

He had previously insisted that he'd be ready for the start of camp. Regardless, head coach Pete Carroll maintains that Rawls will be good-to-go for Week 1. It's concerning that he still isn't 100 percent after suffering an injury in December, but his status for the opener has never been in doubt. Pending any setbacks, Rawls can be drafted in fantasy as an upside RB2.

As of right now, Rawls remains the lead dog in Seattle. We project him to tote the rock 211 times for 985 yards and 7.69 touchdowns on the ground, along with 25 receptions for 197 yards receiving and 0.58 scores through the air, which makes him our 15th best running back.
