Kam Chancellor thinking about holdout
Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor is contemplating a holdout.
Chancellor signed a four-year, $28 million extension in 2013 and will make $4.55 million this season, according to Ian Rapoport on Twitter.
Chancellor racked up 74 tackles in 14 games in 2014 but recorded at least 90 tackles in the three seasons prior. Our algorithms project him to secure another 90-tackle season and pick off three passes. The Seahawks ranked third in our schedule-adjusted, per-play Defensive Net Expected Points (NEP) metric, which compares a team to expectation level. They were also third in both Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play and Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP per play.
