Travis Benjamin odd man out in Browns receiving unit
According to Scott Peltrak of The Chronicle Telegram, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Travis Benjamin is currently the odd man out in the receiving unit.
The Browns added Dwayne Bowe from Kansas City this offseason to become the number-one wide receiver. Brian Hartline, Andrew Hawkins, and Taylor Gabriel all sit ahead of Benjamin on the wide receiver depth chart.
The Browns ranked in the bottom-10 in our schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) metric, so any wide receiver in the offense will not have a high ceiling. In addition, Josh McCown, currently projected as the team's number-one quarterback, had the sixth-worst Passing NEP last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Stay away from the Browns passing game for fantasy purposes.
