Browns suggest Josh Gordon will get another chance with team

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon will be given another chance in Cleveland, head of football operations Sashi Brown indicated in a statement on Monday.

What It Means:

"With the league's decision to afford Josh the opportunity to resume his career, he will be with us for the start of training camp,'' Brown explained. "At that time, we will discuss directly with Josh the direction of our team, our expectations of our players and a plan to support him on and off the field." It appears the uber-talented 25-year-old will at least be with the squad through training camp. It's worth mentioning that Jason Cole of Bleacher Report described Gordon as being on "thin ice'' with the organization while reporting on the receiver's status earlier in the day Monday.

Gordon is projected to finish the 2016 season by our algorithms with 58 receptions for 820 yards receiving and 4.28 touchdowns. He's currently our 42nd-best wide receiver for fantasy purposes going into training camp. Gordon's Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) total of 138.64 from his superb 2013 campaign ranks as the 24th best season since 2000 in terms of Reception NEP.
