Browns' Josh Gordon will be conditionally reinstated from suspension

Cleveland Browns suspended wide receiver Josh Gordon will be reinstated after serving a four-game suspension to begin the season, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

What It Means:

It's somewhat shocking news. Gordon's career appeared to be on the brink at times this offseason, but he's kept his head down since an unfortunate spring. Gordon's reinstatement is conditional, but he will be allowed to participate in training camp. It means Gordon should be in near peak shape when he returns in Week 5. Gordon has played in just five NFL games over the past two years, but he's still only 25 years old.

Gordon is projected to finish the 2016 season by our algorithms with 58 receptions for 820 yards receiving and 4.28 touchdowns. He's currently our 42nd-best wide receiver for fantasy purposes going into training camp. Gordon's Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) total of 138.64 from his superb 2013 campaign ranks as the 24th best season since 2000 in terms of Reception NEP.
