The 30-year-old Hayden should transition to defensive end for the Browns, and adds unit depth following the loss of starter Desmond Bryant to a torn pectoral injury. He was a starter for Dallas the last three seasons, but was a major reason for their run defense struggles. His 53-man spot isn't guaranteed.

In 16 games in 2015, Hayden had just 47 total tackles and no sacks. He's not a likely candidate to start for Cleveland.
