Vontaze Burfict placed on PUP list
The Bengals have placed Vontaze Burfict on the physically unable to perform list. Margus Hunt and Sean Porter also have been placed on the PUP list.
What It Means:
Burfict is still recovering from microfracture knee surgery, but he expected to be 100% in time for the season.
Burfict played just five games last year and recorded 29 tackles. In 2013, he led the NFL in tackles with 171. Our algorithms project him to record 80 tackles this season, though it's highly contingent on his health.
