Free agent Knowshon Moreno wants to play for Dolphins
Free agent running back Knowshon Moreno said he would like to play for the Miami Dolphins.
According to the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson, the Dolphins aren't interested. Moreno last played in the NFL in 2014 with Miami when he blew out his knee after three games. Complications in his recovery stalled his rehab, but he's recently said he'd like to play again. Moreno turns 29 next month.
In his last season in Denver, Moreno had 242 carries for 17.37 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) in Denver in 2013. This was good for fourth among running backs that year in Rushing NEP per attempt (0.07). He's only played three games since then.
