Niles Paul (ankle) participating in Washington OTA's
Washington tight end Niles Paul (ankle) is participating in team drills at OTA's.
It's a pretty big surprise as Paul was expected to be questionable for the start of training camp in roughly two months. Paul probably isn't 100 percent, but he appears to be on or ahead of schedule in his recovery from a gruesome ankle fracture and dislocation that happened last summer.
Paul last played in the regular season in 2014, when he put together 34.10 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) on 52 targets. That 0.66 Reception NEP per target ranked 18th among the 44 tight ends with at least 30 targets that year.
