Browns cut bad investment, Dwayne Bowe
The Cleveland Browns have released wide receiver Dwayne Bowe.
The move to cut Bowe frees up $3.4 million in cap space for the Browns. Bowe was horrific last season, yet was handsomely paid a guaranteed $9 million in 2015.
Bowe was targeted only 13 times all season, and he caught only five balls for 53 yards. He had a Net Expected Points per target of 0.4 in 2015, which ranked as the 40th worst receiver in the NFL.
