Doug Martin sticks with Tampa Bay
Free agent running back Doug Martin has re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
It's a five-year deal worth $35.75 million, including $15 million guaranteed. He can earn another $7.5 million through incentives. After testing the market and most notably flirting with the Oakland Raiders, Martin gets his big payday from the team which drafted him in 2012. Fresh off a monster year, Martin and the young Buccaneers' offense will look to keep building in 2016.
Among backs with at least 100 carries, Martin ended the 2015 season ranked 15th in Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per carry.
