Atlanta leaning toward retaining Roddy White
Atlanta Falcons wideout Roddy White may be back in Atlanta next season, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's D. Orlando Ledbetter.
With White set to count just over $6.1 million against the salary cap, there has been speculation the Falcons will move on from their declining No. 2 receiver. General manager Thomas Dimitroff recently said, "It's not always about the talent," however, and coach Dan Quinn has talked about White's value as a "competitor and leader" on multiple occasions. It would still be surprising if White is back at his current cap hit, but it looks like the Falcons are at least open to idea.
Among the 61 receivers with at least 70 targets in 2015, White ranked 43rd in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
