Bills' LeSean McCoy accused of assaulting officers
Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was allegedly involved in the assault of three off-duty Philadelphia police officers early Sunday morning, CSN Philadelphia reports.
McCoy, former NFL running back Curtis Brinkley, former wide receiver T.J. Porter and Christopher Henderson reportedly got into a physical altercation over a bottle of champagne with three off-duty officers around 2:45 a.m. at Philadelphia's Recess Lounge. ABC 6 reports two officers were hospitalized as a result of the altercation, and Fox 29's Dave Schratwieser reports one officer suffered a fractured skull. None of the alleged assailants were arrested, but they are reportedly the focus of the investigation. The Bills released a statement saying the organization was "aware" of the reports and is "in the process of gathering more information."
McCoy ranked 14th in Total Net Expected Points among running backs with at least 100 carries this year.
