Eagles may not be interested Rams' Nick Foles after all

The Philadelphia Eagles are not interested in reacquiring Los Angeles Rams quarterback Nick Foles, the Philadelphia Daily News' Les Bowen reports.

What It Means:

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday new head coach Doug Pederson was interested in the Eagles former quarterback, but a source told Bowen, "There is no chance the team will reacquire Foles." If accurate, it is the right decision by Philadelphia. Foles has not shown anything the last two seasons to suggest he is markedly better than current backup Mark Sanchez. The Rams are likely stuck with Foles until they can get out of his contract next offseason.

The Rams' passing attack as a whole ranked 32nd in Adjusted Offensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play. Keenum was the better of the two, as his 0.10 Passing NEP per drop back ranks 21st among the 47 quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs this season. Foles was 44th in this metric (-0.17).
