Miami Dolphins quarterback Josh Rosen will start Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
What It Means:
Dolphins head coach Brian Flores made the decision Thursday afternoon. Rosen is taking over as the tank driver, with Ryan Fitzpatrick transitioning to clipboard duties. It's a decent matchup, as the Cowboys have given up the 12th-most passing yards through two, but the Dolphins are so atrocious that it likely doesn't matter.
Rosen has completed 8-of-21 (38.1 percent) passes for 102 yards (4.9 per attempt) with 0 touchdowns and 2 interceptions off the Dolphins' bench this season.
